The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Government of Karnataka welcomes students to apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2015 to qualify the test takers to pursue various Medical and Dental courses in Karnataka. The State level common entrance test enables the qualified to apply for the above mentioned undergraduate courses. The KCET 2015 will be conducted on the 1st and 2nd of May 2015. Who can apply KCET Medical?

• Applicants need to provide documentation to vouch for their local or non local status as per the instructions of the Indian Educational Institutions  as only students from Karnataka can take this exam

• Applicants must have finished their Intermediate or 10+2 or Karnataka 2 PUC with an aggregate of  50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Process of Selection:

• Applicants are selected on the basis of their marks in the Karnataka CET 2015 exam and the rank

About the Admit Card:

• Log onto the official website - www.kea.kar.nic.in

• Download the Admit Card on an A4 size paper

• It confirms the identity of the student taking the examination

• It allows you to enter the examination hall

Application Procedure:

• The application form is available online - www.kea.kar.nic.in

• Applicants Download the application form

• The application form can be procured from schools and colleges in Karnataka

• Make a payment of Rs. 550 towards the Application Fees to the Principal of schools and colleges in the form of a DD drawn in favor of ‘The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore’, Payable at Bangalore

Note:

• Application forms will be available: March 1st week

• End Date for submission of application form: April mid week

• Exam Date: 1st, 2nd and 3rd May 2015

• Results: May last week
